Moxifloxacin is a synthetic chemotherapeutic antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone drug class similar to enrofloxacin.

In feline medicine it is used for rapidly growing Mycobacterium spp[1], Bartonella spp[2] and Nocardia spp infections.

Recommended dose in cats is 5 mg/kg orally once daily.
