Mebendazole is a synthetic benzimidazole that has efficacy against intestinal roundworms in dogs.

This drug has shown efficacy against Ancylostoma spp[1], Toxocara spp, Trichuris spp[2].

Mebendazole has been largely replaced by macrocyclic lactones and is rarely used in canine medicine.
