Keratitis refers to any inflammatory or infectious disease involving the cornea of the dog.
Common examples include:
- Trauma - e.g. foreign body
- Pseudomonas spp bacteria
- Canine herpesvirus
- Canine influenza virus
- Chronic superficial keratitis
- Thelazia spp
