Pseudomonas spp are a group of Gram-negative, aerobic proteobacteria.

Species which are pathogenic to dogs include:

  • Pseudomonas

These bacteria are commensals of the canine skin and a leading cause of otitis externa[1].

however, opportunistic infections may lead to more serious disease such as respiratory tract infections and pneumonia.
