Vetbook is an open-access website. Anyone anywhere can edit material providing it coincides with our Rules of conduct.

If there is an article you wish to edit, simply log in by creating an account, and edit the text. We will ensure that any formatting errors are corrected. Please ensure that all material is referenced to peer-reviewed journals.

If you wish to create a new article, merely type in the name of the new article, e.g. Title Name, into the search engine. If the article doesn't exist, it will ask you if you want to create the page. Simple click on this link and begin entering the article. We recommend limiting new articles and instead highlighting a word in an existing article using two open and closed brackets before and after '[[ ]]' and then click on this name once you have saved it. A new page will open and you can begin your new article there.

You do not need to read any rules before contributing to Vetbook. If you do what seems sensible, it will usually be right, and if it's not right, don't worry. Even the worst mistakes are easy to correct: older versions of a page remain in the revision history and can be restored. If we disagree with your changes, we'll talk about it thoughtfully and politely, and we'll figure out what to do. So don't worry. Be bold, and enjoy helping to build this free encyclopedia.

Vetbook is the product of thousands of editors' contributions, each one bringing something different to the table, whether it be: researching skills, technical expertise, writing prowess or tidbits of information, but most importantly a willingness to help. Even the best articles should not be considered complete, as each new editor can offer new insights on how to enhance the content in it anytime.
