Buspirone

From Dog

Buspirone is an antidepressant drug similar to clomipramine and fluoxetine.

This drug is used for behavior modification, and is used in adaptation related problems such as obsessive compulsive disorders, separation anxiety[1] and acral lick dermatitis[2].

Recommended dose rate in dogs is 0.5 - 1.0 mg/kg given orally every 12 - 24 hours.
