Canine kobuvirus

From Dog

Canine kobuvirus is an endemic picornavirus that can cause gastroenteritis in dogs[1].

Kobuviruses are known to infect cattle, pigs and humans[2][3].

This virus has only recently been reported in dogs and is an uncommon cause of diarrhea in dogs.

No specific treatment is required as this is usually a self-limiting disease[4].
