Cyclosporin is an immunomodulating drug which reduces inflammation in immune-mediated disease.

It is indicated in the management of:

Cyclosporin has proven to be as effective as glucocorticoids for treatment of canine atopic dermatitis at the inducing dosage of 5 mg/kg orally once daily[1].

Chronically immunosuppressed dogs may be more prone to developing bacterial diseases such as Nocardia spp infections.
