Dopamine

Dopamine is a catecholamine neurotransmitter used for treatment of acute hypotension associated with shock[1] and in cases of canine aggression.

It is contraindicated in dogs with arrhythmias.

Recommended dose rate is 2 - 7 μg/kg/min as constant rate infusion.
