Flucytosine

From Dog

Flucytosine (5-flurocytosine) is a synthetic antimycotic drug.

Side-effects such as drug eruptions have limited the use of this drug in treatment of cryptococosis[1].

It has also been used, but with limited efficacy, in conjunction with ketoconazole against Cladophialophora bantiana[2].
