The Korthals Griffon (Wirehaired Pointing Griffon) is a French breed of dog used in hunting as a gundog.
The Korthals Griffon have a very distinctive coat. It is wiry and harsh. This is perfectly suited for work in the deep forest and swamps. The colour is usually grey with tan or brown markings. They can also be found in such colours as chestnut brown, white, and orange. They have flat ears which are close to the head. The nose is almost always brown. One of the most attractive features of the Korthals Griffon is that it is a breed that does not shed.
