Calcium folinate (folinic acid; leucovorin) is an adjuvant drug used in chemotherapy with drugs such as methotrexate or 5-fluorouracil[1].

This drug appears to be well tolerated in dogs, with few side-effects[2].

Recommended dose rate in dogs is 3 mg/m2 given intramuscularly.
