Dinoprost (PGF) is a synthetic prostaglandin used as an abortifacient in conjunction with aglepristone[1].

Prostaglandin is produced endogenously in bitches during induction of labor and higher levels in association with reduced oxytocin and vasopressin are associated with primary uterine inertia[2].
