Inflammatory bowel disease

Inflammatory bowel disease is a collective term for a number of chronic gastrointestinal disorders characterized by vomiting, diarrhea and weight loss.

It is thought that an hypersensitivity type I reactions is involved in the pathogenesis of this disease[1].
